Togo: programs & priorities
ChildFund Australia's affiliate organisation in Togo assists
approximately over 3,500 children and their family members.
Program initiatives include supplying school uniforms, textbooks
and writing materials for primary school students, as well as
administering vaccinations for measles, diphtheria, tetanus,
whooping cough, tuberculosis and polio.
In addition, farmers can access special agricultural courses and
credit-loans to help increase food production and achieve food
self-sufficiency for entire communities.
Centres have been established for children aged 5-19 years, which
allows them to receive training in agriculture, animal husbandry,
carpentry, mechanics and handicrafts.
