ChildFund understands that poverty is a complex problem that needs to be addressed with full community support. ChildFund assesses where its aid is able to flow without political, religious or bureaucratic obstacles and liaises with government and community members to assess where needs are the greatest. ChildFund then creates programs in consultation with community leaders to provide practical assistance to children, families and impoverished communities.

ChildFund's program work is carefully planned with targets and goals to be achieved within set timeframes. Depending on the size and scale of the program, work can run from a number of months to many years. As ChildFund is accredited by AusAID, all of our programs are audited to ascertain that funds are used to their maximum potential.
