Why children need your help

• Around one-fifth of all children under five years of age suffer from malnutrition.
• For over 20 years, Uganda has been plagued by civil unrest, with many children abducted by the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) to act as child soldiers. Over over 1.5 million people have been displaced, and tens of thousands killed or kidnapped.
• The life expectancy for Ugandans is just 53 years of age.
