Unleash children’s imagination and open their eyes to learning and the world by filling a rural classroom with a mini library. Written in the local language, the books improve literacy and help children discover the joy of reading.
How this gift helps
An inability to read keeps many people in Cambodia from reaching their potential. Thanks to Gifts for Good donors, books were distributed to schools in Svay Chrum district, directly benefiting over 2,000 students and people in the community. Sreypich, an 11-year-old school girl told ChildFund staff she was happy when she saw the new books available in her school library. “I like reading them very much and it will help me and other friends improve our reading,” she said.
