Life in Uganda

Alvin Ninoowe is a bit reserved though an assertive boy. He is an Anglican by faith and Muganda by tribe. Alvin Ninoowe lives with his single mother and his 2 siblings in central slummy parts of Uganda. The father of the child is alive but deserted the family when the child was two years old and his whereabouts are not known. The child is meant to be in school by his age but the mother couldnt afford the school fees because elder brother had to do his final exams. The mother has a plan of taking him to school next year. Alvin Ninoowe likes playing with toys with his siblings. He is so talented in singing. He washes utensils with his mothers. The family gets clean and safe water from the tap which is within home. The family rents a single room where by children share beddings which puts them at a risk of easy spread of diseases such as ringworm. The house is made up of bricks with metallic iron sheet. The floor is made up of muddy. The mother is the sole provider of the family who earns a living from washing clothes of people in neighborhood.
