Life in Uganda

Annitah Nakibuule is social young girl living with a single Parent and Siblings since her Father abandoned them. Annitah Nakibuure lives in one of the Districts of Central-Western part of Uganda. She is a Ganda by tribe and a Catholic by Faith. They live in a small old iron sheet roofed house made of unbaked bricks walls. As a family, they depend on subsistence farming for a living but this is also affected by unpredictable weather conditions, pests and diseases. They grow maize, beans, bananas basically for food but in case of a surplus, they sell to meet other needs however their average monthly income has never exceeded 25 US dollars. Annitah Nakibuure goes to an Early Childhood Development Centre and likes to study English. She does not get all the basic needs as her family is too big. Her health is average. She enjoys collecting small pieces of firewood alongside the Mother in a nearby small forest for home use. Your kind sponsorship to this needy child will be a blessing.
