Life in Uganda

Rashida Nandhego is courteous girl. She comes from a humble Muslim family and she is a Muslim by tribe. She stays with her parents and 3 siblings in a remote village, which lacks access to clean source of water. Her family stays in a two roomed house, Rashida Nandhego and her siblings share one room with all the other household items. They sleep on the floor and use old torn beddings. Her family uses kerosene for lighting and firewood for cooking. The family rests its hope on the 20 US dollars earned monthly from subsistence farming and selling labor to the neighbors. However much of this money is spend on treatment especially malaria which is the prevalent infection. Rashida Nandhego is always delighting people around with humor. She is very intelligent compared to peers of her age. In school, she likes writing letters, counting and singing. For fun, she enjoys diving in water and playing ball games. Your kind sponsorship will be a stepping stone towards her bright future.
