Life in Uganda

Tom is a young boy living with his parents in the central Uganda and a Ganda by tribe and Catholic by faith. Tom is currently in school and loves reading small books and counting numbers. He was born in one of the remote villages in central Uganda. He stays with both parents and siblings in a two roomed semi-permanent house, and his family depends entirely on small scale farming. The produce realized is used for both income and domestic consumption. The familys average income per month is less than 20 US dollars. Access to quality education, health and other social needs remain a big challenge to this child and the entire family. He enjoys playing with toy cars made out of local materials, swinging, sliding, plus hide and seek with his peers. He helps his mother with home chores of washing utensils, digging and fetching water using small container. His health is good despite the challenging economic situation the family faces. Your kind sponsorship will make Tom realize his dream of living a better life.
