Give children a strong start they need

In the first 1,000 days of life, every meal and every moment of care matters.

But in remote communities across Vietnam, many children still begin life without the nutrition, healthcare and support they need to thrive.

In a small village in northern Vietnam, Minh’s mum Linh dreamed of watching her little boy grow strong — taking his first steps and playing with the other children.

But when food and healthcare were scarce, Minh became weak and often fell sick.

Thanks to the generosity of ChildFund donors, everything changed.

Linh joined a local parenting group where she learned how to prepare balanced meals, grow vegetables and raise chickens. Community health workers visited often, helping her track Minh’s growth and keep him healthy.

Now Minh is strong, curious and learning.
