Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion Advisor

Finance Officer – Parental Leave Cover

Location: Sydney, Australia  |Closing date: 24th February 2021

ChildFund Australia is searching for a Finance Officer to cover a parental leave period of 10 months. This position is a great opportunity for someone who does not have a wealth of experience, but a great attitude. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner – Program Management, you will be responsible for accounts payable, fund transfers, ledger reconciliations and other daily accounting tasks.  You will assist with the generation of monthly department reports and project acquittal reports, annual statutory audit and annual budget & budget reforecasts.

Project Manager – EERRP

Location: Port Moresby, National Capital District  |Closing date: 21st January 2021

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the direction and oversight of all ChildFund PNG’s activities under the EERRP (Education Emergency Response and Recovery Plan) Project. You will lead a team of seven CFPNG staff to work closely with the National Department of Education (NDOE) in planning and delivering project activities in six target areas of PNG in 2021. The role will involve planning, delivering and monitoring activities which will build the ability of NDOE specialist staff, school leaders, teachers and community members to prepare for, and respond to, natural and other disasters. A particular focus will be on the well-being of children who experience trauma. You will also support project staff to collect and aggregate data for use in regular narrative and financial reports and other evaluative studies.

Project Finance Manager

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead and manage all financial aspects of the Education Emergency Response and Recovery Plan (EERRP) project which ChildFund is implementing in partnership with PNG’s National Department of Education. The project finance manager provides timely, collaborative support to program staff on all financial matters relevant to all administrative field accounting, budget tracking, preparation of financial reports and reconciliations while ensuring compliance with donor guidelines and ChildFund Policies.
