Build a brighter Cambodia appeal 2008
Thousands of children die every year in rural Cambodia as a result of drinking unsafe water.
In May 2008, ChildFund launched the Build a brighter Cambodia appeal to provide clean water wells and safe sanitation facilities.
Thanks to your generous support, ChildFund Australia raised $199,175 to build wells for drinking water and hygienic latrines for safe sanitation.
Funds raised will also help build irrigation canals to improve farming, food and income opportunities for families, and will improve school facilities for children in remote, rural communities.
