ChildFund Australia is an independent international development organisation focused on reducing poverty for children in developing communities. We work directly with children and their communities to drive lasting change, supporting long-term development, responding to emergencies and advocating for children’s rights. We want every child to say: “I am safe. I am educated. I am heard. I can make a difference. I have a future.”
We partner with local organisations in Cambodia, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, Vietnam and across the Pacific, delivering projects in Asia, Africa and the Americas. Our work is funded through government grants, and donations from individuals, trusts, foundations and corporate partners.
ChildFund Australia is a proud member of the ChildFund Alliance – a global network that supports nearly 36 million children and families across 70 countries. We’re a registered charity, a member of the Australian Council for International Development, and fully accredited by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, which oversees Australia’s overseas aid program.
